All the money Willie McGee made as an athlet and he still couldn't buy himself a chin. As far as the artword goes, not a cards fan, but definitely a fan of this artwork. Great as always Mr. Ullman.
Thought I'd link to an image of ol' Willie, just as reference for those 'a you who didn't grow up collecting baseball cards. Despite his, er, uh, facial disadvantages, everything I've ever read about the guy implies he was an all-around class act and swell fellow.
ROBERT ULLMAN pays the bills as a freelance illustrator for a plethora of publications, such as VIRGINIA LIVING, NICKELODEON, and THE WASHINGTON CITY PAPER. He creates comics in his spare time (of which there never seems to be enough), including ATOM-BOMB BIKINI, GRAND GESTURES, LUNCH-HOUR COMIX and the upcoming SELLOUT, which will see print one of these days.

Loved Willie McGee back then. Love this saucy blond now!
Was there ever an dder-looking baseball player than Willie McGee? His mug could stop a train!

Man, I need to start proofreading before I hit the publish button!
Thanks, Ben!

Willie McGee's ugliness is epic!
His '86 Topps card is definitely a thing of beauty (horror).
Willie wasn't pretty but the guy could hit. I love this pic, the 80s classic. Willie was my boyhood hero!
