This was a recent commission, with the direction of "a girl wearing headphones and a fitted Clash t-shirt". The client and I were both so pleased with how it came out that I'm considering branching out and taking some commissions that aren't limited to sports teams, and have more general appeal...things like band t-shirts, favorite outfits, etc. What say you, readers? Any takers?

This is my favorite illustration of yours. Hands down. Hot punk chick in a plaid skirt? Genius!
Okay I NEED this. Print????
BTW, saw your Tarheel girl at Heroes Con today. She was beautiful. If I wasn't sworn to hate the baby blue I would surely bid on her.
Excellent! Nice to see a chick actually doing something. It's like a personality or something. And I mean that in the nicest way.
Carolina Girl went for $425. Grats!
Yeah, this one is bunches o' fun. Is it a commission? For sale? Perhaps a sticker?
It WAS a commission...and the client and I were both so pleased with how it came out that I'm considering branching out and doing some commissions that aren't limited to sports teams, and have more general appeal. What say you, readers?
This is great - cute and sassy. I'd love to see Nirvana girl, Aerosmith girl, Rolling Stones girl, Guns-n-Roses girl, Pixies girl, White Stripes girl.....
Yup, branching out to other types of commissions could be a good thing. Go for it!!
I really love your art and I would love to have a commission done! Perhaps of my girlfriend. What are your prices?
I really like the punk girl! Good direction to move in. Howabout another...maybe wearing a Foo Fighters t-shirt and holding a guitar?? keep up the great work.
I think general appeal is a good way to go - I love that Suicide Girl look. This illustration and the other one you did of the dominatrix (?) I would have tried to purchase the original artwork for if a buyer hadn't been lined up.
The Cramps. I love me some Cramps;)
We need a Sloan 'Canadian Girl'!
B: I did this quickie a coupla years back...but yeah, I think we're definitely due for another. Especially given the title of the new record...XX? It's a match made in heaven!
You might consider this question odd, but when you draw something like this where the shirt logo is essentially upside down, do you flip the page so you're drawing "normal" or do you actually draw it upside down?
Thanks,
Mike
