How do you blast out the blue pencil? I've taken to adjusting the hue and saturation levels to get rid of the blue, but it still leaves gray marks. Do you have a different technique?
Ah, yeah I do it the opposite way - levels first, then grayscale. I'm going to give your way a shot and see if I can get some better results - thanks for the tips!

Well, with this I converted it to grayscale and then messed with the levels there before switching to CMYK. That might be a way to go.
